THANKS for a great book fair!

Our book fair was the week of April 20, and it was a great success! In fact, we had one of our most profitable book fairs ever!

So now I have been very busy cataloging and getting on the shelves the 40+ books we got as part of our profits! Many are books some of our students have been requesting, so I'm excited to finally get a copy on the shelf. In addition, I picked up 50+ books for next year's "Read it Forward." And no, I can't tell you what our selection will be---it's a secret!

I also am excited that we will have enough money to have one (and maybe even two!) guest authors visit our school next year. Yay!

A special thanks to the amazing PTA volunteers from CD Fulkes, and also the A+team of volunteers from the La Frontera Kohl's. There is no way we could have had our success without our volunteers---we were able to get the library up and running for our students and staff members, all while having the bookfair run throughout each day non-stop!
